Alarm hands can be set to indicate the time in a different time zone. The brushed and polished gold tone stainless steel bracelet and case are like no other. Charcoal dial. The sapphire crystal is virtually scratch proof and the cabochon crown adds that finishing touch. 100 meters water resistant.

I am quite pleased with the appearance and accuracy of the Seiko Courtura watch (SNA694) I purchased. I have owned Seiko watches since the 1960′s when I bought my first one in Southeast Asia. However, as I get older I find the alarm is too high pitched and the volume too low to suit these 70 year old ears. On the other hand I have far fewer requiremens to be reminded with an alarm.

While I am quite delighted with this purchase, as the watch is very well made and looks great, the readability of the watch is not immediate. I suspect my eyes will adjust to the watch over time to allow me to quickly discern the current time. The weight is a quite a bit more than my titanium Seiko grand sport watch, but it is not noticeable by the arm and wrist while being worn. The gold tone is a more subtle than one might anticipate; the pictures do not do justice to the timepiece. All in all, I am happy with the purchase and the price on Amazon. Brick and mortar stores compete unfavorably to the prices offered on Amazon. I highly recommend purchasing this product. Good value, good product, good look.
